Stacie Rasmussen, MFT Intern

MFT Intern, Argosy University

Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference. -Virginia Satir
Stacie Rasmussen, MFT Intern

Satir’s quote personifies my fundamental, foundational belief about life and dealing with its trials and tribulations. I firmly believe that we all have the ability to traverse a myriad of obstacles and barriers that we will face over a lifetime. However, we may need help to discover different paths because we get stuck in coping patterns that fail to account for alternatives. My hope as a marriage and family therapist is to help my clients discover hope, strength, and resiliency within themselves and their families as they face the challenges that life inevitably brings.
