As an experienced play therapist, I am dedicated to working with children to help them overcome and resolve their problems by learning healthy coping skills, discovering new ways to improve behavior through the use of positive reinforcement and consequences, increasing self-esteem, and developing a hopeful life outlook. I believe that the family is the keystone to change for children and parental involvement is crucial to the growth and healing of a child. I also help parents  learn healthy parenting skills and techniques so they can support their child’s progress and be actively involved in the therapeutic process. I am hopeful that through the therapy process that children and families can develop the tools to become healthy, happy, and whole.

I believe we all have the potential to live a life full of joy, meaning, and intimacy. I also know that sometimes challenges arise that prevent us from reaching our potential, leaving us feeling out of balance or just going through the motions. For over 6 years, I’ve helped adolescents, adults, couples and families reach their true potential and live more balanced, authentic lives. I have an open and relaxed style, and like to, with your help, tailor the therapeutic experience to your needs.
