Clair Mellenthin, LCSW, RPT-S

Psychotherapist
Clinical Director
MSW, University of Southern California
As a registered play therapist, I am dedicated to working with children to help them overcome and resolve their problems by learning healthy coping skills, discovering new ways to improve behavior through the use of positive reinforcement and consequences, increasing self-esteem, and developing a hopeful life outlook. I believe that the family is the keystone to change for children and parental involvement is crucial to the growth and healing of a child. I also help parents learn healthy parenting skills and techniques so they can support their child’s progress and be actively involved in the therapeutic process. I am hopeful that through the therapy process that children and families can develop the tools to become healthy, happy, and whole.
